  • Loyola outlasts Fenwick!

Next up, the Boys Water Polo State Championship. Once again Stevenson High School in Lincolnshire was the site and, once again, Fenwick was in the Title Game. • Lake Forest wins 2A Title

North Central College was the place to be for the Girls Soccer Class 2A State Championship. Facing off in the finale were the Scouts of Lake Forest and the Wildcats of Normal West. Regulation time was not enough to decide a winner in this one as these two teams battled to PKs in Naperville. When it was all over it was the Scouts celebrating on the turf as they captured their first ever Soccer State Championship.
  • Lincoln-Way East wins Boys Volleyball

In early June two Chicagoland area Boys Volleyball teams met up at Hoffman Estates High School to face off for the State Crown. In a three set battle it was the Griffins of Lincoln-Way East coming out on top over the Warren Blue Devils. The win gave the Griffins their first ever Boys Volleyball State Championship.
