As the 2016 IHSA football playoffs reach the quarterfinals this weekend, teams featured on CN100 Sports this season continue to be well-represented on the road to state championships.

Across the remaining playoff field, nine teams that appeared on CN100 Game of the Week broadcasts this year are still in postseason contention in three different classes. That includes Class 8A No. 1 seed Loyola Academy and three other schools – St. Charles East and Palatine in 8A, and Rolling Meadows in 7A – carrying a perfect 11-0 records into the quarterfinals.

CN100, The Comcast Network, broadcasts high school football games each week on Saturdays, Sunday, Mondays and Tuesdays. Every game is also available in HD throughout Chicagoland with Xfinity On Demand by clicking Get Local and CN100. X1 users, look for Get Local under the Xfinity Services tab.
