    Battle of the Fans went to Gurnee, IL. to catch up with last years' BOTF Champs, the Blue Crew of Warren Township. Their Blue Devils were taking on the Mundelein Mustangs in a critical match-up to seize control North Suburban Lake. Mundelein's Red Rage traveled well to support in hopes to give their Mustangs confidence, and the Blue Crew a run for their money in this BOTF competition.

    Recently, our BOTF team caught up with the East Side Crew from Glenbard East High School as the Rams took on the Warriors of Crete-Monee in a rare Southland/DuPage Valley match-up that went two overtimes.

  • Cougar Crazies vs. Schaumburg Super Fans

    First place in the MSL Conference was on the line when the Schaumburg Saxons hosted their rival Conant Cougars. Battle of the Fans captured it all as the opposing student sections duked it out and left everything in the gym. This rivalry will burn out the day Saxon Man stops dancing! Which would be never...     The St. Charles East Super Saints collided with the St. Charles North Blue Crew when their basketball teams met on January 7th. Camron Smith explores just how deep this rivalry runs through the city of St. Charles by chatting it up with the student sections from both schools.

  • Football Final Champs: Freddie's Fanatics

    Throughout December, Aaron Kirn introduced you to the final eight student sections from the Chicagoland area competing for the Battle of the Fans Championship banner for the 2011 High School Football Season. On noon on Friday, December 23, the votes were tallied and the Championship banner goes to Freddie's Fanatics of Nazareth Academy who accounted for over 50% of the vote! Congratulations!!

    Glenbard North and Loyola Academy collided in the 8A Semifinals with a trip downstate on the line. Camron Smith caught up the Glenbard North Panther Pack and Loyola Academy's White Noise to find out which supporters reign supreme!

    Lions and Comcast and Bears, Oh My! As the Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears were about to battle for playoff positioning and pride, so to were the die-hard fans beforehand in the parking lot!     As seen here, Marian Central Catholic's Crazy Canes are just that... crazy! They traveled to Montini Catholic to watch their squad challenge the two-time defending state champion Montini Broncos for the 5A Quarterfinals. The Montini Maniacs were there to welcome them, and proved to be just as crazy for their team! Vote below for your favorite supporters!!

  • Big Red vs. Redhawk Rowdies

    Naperville Central's Redhawk Rowdies collided with Homewood-Flossmoor's Big Red in the 8A Quarterfinals. The Redhawks handled their business both on and off the field Friday night. Naperville defeated HF 42-14, but who wins in the stands is entirely up to you! Vote for your favorite student section from the Quarterfinals below; voting ends Sunday.
