Stephen Daldry
Billy Elliot Director Stephan Daldry discusses the disision to bring the 10-time Tony Award winnig musical to the Windy City. Daldry made his feature film directorial debut in 2000 with Billy Elliot the movie. His next film was The Hours, and it won Best Actress at the Academy Awards for Nicole Kidman. His work on Billy Elliot the Musical earned him a Tony Award for Best Director of a Musical.
Tommy Bachelor
Tommy Batchelor is one of four actors in the role of Billy Elliot. The 14-year old is a native of Florida and he appeared in the New York version of Billy Elliot before making his way to Chicago. Tommy for discovered his love for dance and seeing a documentary on Bojangles at the age of three.
Emily Skinner
Tony nominated actress Emily Skinner plays the role of Mrs. Wilkinson in the Chicago version of Billy Elliot. Born in Richmond, Virginia, Emily Skinner attended college at Carnegie Mellon University. She moved to New York in 1992 and took part in a workshop of Jekyll and Hyde. A few years later, she joined the original cast as an ensemble member and understudy for the leads of Emma and Lucy. Other Broadway credits include James Joyce's The Dead, The Full Monty, Dinner at Eight, the 2004 Encores!
Jonathan Finn
Producer Jonathan Finn discusses the differences in the Chicago version of Billy Elliot the Musical. Jon started in show business as a production manager then line producer on several feature films and major television dramas. In 1999 he produced his first film, Billy Elliot won the NOVA award for his work in 2000. Billy Elliot was his first foray into theatre. The huge success of the London production, has also brought the musical to New York, Sydney and now Chicago.

Opening Night in Chicago
